FANTOM X started in the back lab of a grimy Hollywood special-effects studio. It materialized as a hybrid of the special FX industry, the costume & wardrobe industry, and Hollywood haute couture. It was forged from the twisted dreams and sick minds of costume designers and prosthetic make-up artists searching for something more.

Thus, as silicone was poured into slimy molds and casts to create wearable special-effects prosthetics, the old mold of the fashion world was broken, and the shape of things to come was at last given form: FANTOM X.
